Hapnot Collegiate in Flin Flon, MB

In May,  I had a contemplative eight hour drive from Winnipeg up to Flin Flon, MB to work with a fantastic bunch of high school students at Hapnot Collegiate! Take a look at what we got up to. A big thank you to Christie Jedele, one amazing art teacher and my gracious and lovely hosts Jan and Greg Modler. Flin Flon has such an amazing and surreal landscape! We discussed the rough geography of Flin Flon and in turn how the art we create is coloured by our individual experience of the land we grow up on.  The photographs are thought provoking and depict many distinct perspectives from above the 53 Parallel!
